Today’s post is about Illamasqua Zygomatic.
I’ve always hesitated in buying Illamasqua products. I don’t know really why, because I’ve been really attracted from their range of colours, plus I love their concept and their attention towards subcultures. And Alex Box is amazing.
So, I started with two cheek products and today I want to talk about a Cream Blusher, in Zygomatic, which firstly launched with Naked Stranger collection.
I was looking for a good creamy contour product, since I was told that cream formulas blend better into foundation and look more natural. So, Zygomatic seemed perfect: not too orange nor too ashy.
It is a really natural rose-beige and you can use it also as a blush alone, especially when you do want to look as natural as possible or you’re looking for a really sophisticated look with strong eyes and lips. But I find it perfect as contour, used under cheekbones in order to lift them. It is very natural and due to its rosy undertone you won’t look like a zombie. It is extremely pigmented, so go lightly!
Lasting power is good but not excellent: it wears well for about 6 hours, then it starts fading.
It does contain petrolatum if you’re concerned (you can find ingredients on Illamasqua‘s site), but I didn’t experience any break out.
Ce l’ho! A dire il vero di blush in crema Illamasqua ne ho 4 e devo dire che sono i miei preferiti perchè hanno quell’effetto dewy che un prodotto in polvere ovviamente non può avere, ma che spesso non hanno nemmeno gli altri prodotti cremosi perchè sono dei creme-to-powder.
Mai usato x il contouring perchè ci vedo meglio un prodotto opaco, ma è bellissimo usato sulla guancia x non appesantire un trucco magari molto colorato. Sto meditando di prendere in futuro anche la sua versione in polvere, Naked Rose, e l’illuminate in crema Aurora (se non sbaglio).
@IlariaO ho scoperto di preferire il contouring in crema perché si fonde meglio col fondo e poi aggiusto il tutto con la cipria 😀
@kenderasia Anche a me piace fare contouring con le creme, ma preferisco la pro sculpting creme di Mac, mai provata?
Io adoro il suo omologo in polvere, Naked rose, che utilizzo spessissimo, ma ora che è primavera so già che sfoggerò Zygomatic in molte occasioni. Adoro i blush in crema di illamasqua, su di me durano un’infinità 🙂
