Hi! Today I want to show you a recent love. I tried to resist to Chanel Illusion d’Ombre but with some coupons I ended up buying a long time lemming: the well known Illusoire. I loved so much the formula that I bought then Apparence (the one I’m going to talk about today), the new Illusion d’Ombre launched with Chanel Holiday collection Eclats du Soir.
Apparence is a warm gold, not an artificial colour but it seems like real gold metal. Unbelievable, but I didn’t own any true gold eyeshadow in my stash, so I needed it absolutely ๐
It is not too light, not too bronze, not too orange, not too fake yellow: just sultry pure gold.
Illusion d’Ombre texture is really strange, I didn’t ever seen any similar to it. It is not cream nor powder; maybe it’s a sort of gel-mousse texture. Nothing similar to Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill eyeshadows nor to MUFE Aqua Cream.
Extremely easy to use: you can apply it with a brush (with synthetic bristles or the one you get with the eyeshadow) or with your finger, you get an amazing “all done eye” without effort. It looks gorgeous as a wash colour on lid with a burgundy eyeshadow in the crease and in the outer corner. A perfect look for these Holidays ๐
Without a base it lasts for about 6 hours then it begin to crease. With a base it lasts all day and night long.
Let me know it you love Illusion d’Ombre eyeshadows too!
