Perfect skin through peonies? L’Occitane Pivoine Flora is the new Skincare and Makeup Range
L’Occitane Pivoine Flora (Peony) perfumed range was launched in 2010. Now L’Occitane uses Peony‘s extracts and features to create a brand new skincare and make up range. Peony is one of the most springy flowers, which blooms during spring in beautiful, opulent pink buds.
So, is there any more suitable flower extract to create a skincare range for spring? Peony‘s extract has been discovered by L’Occitane thanks to Jean-Luc Rivière himself and it is protected by patent. Peony is well known for its therapeutic properties since ancient times. Now L’Occitane is able to extract Peony‘s properties through hydrolysis so Perfecting Peony Complex™ was born.
L’Occitane Pivoine Flora skincare range consist of four products: Skin Perfector, Perfecting Cream and Perfecting Mist. Skin Perfector is a facial serum with a fresh and lightweight texture for a second skin effect. Perfecting Cream is a daily moisturizer that balances hydration on climatic conditions and protect skin against stress and pollution. Perfecting Mist is a beauty mist which provides 8 hours of hydration throughout the day; it also helps to fix make up. These products help the complexion look more even, fresh and rosy, correcting skintone and skin texture for a perfect springful look with a radiant allure.
L’Occitane has also launched a Pivoine Flora make up range: four Tinted Lip Balms and Skin Tone Perfecting Cream CC Cream. The balms all contain SPF25, three of them have a subtle hint of colour for a healthy and juicy look for your lips; they are supposed to hydrate the lips for eight hours. Skin Tone Perfecting Cream CC Cream exists in two colours: claire for fair and light complexions and halêe for medium-dark ones. The first one has a illuminating, pink based effect while the ladder gives a healthy bronzed look. It contains colour correcting pigment to even out skintone and to adapt to each complexion minimizing little imperfections.
