Rose Gold Obsession
Recently I’ve been pretty obsessed with Rose Gold colour when it comes to beauty products (and accessories as well, of course). So, I thought about a little selection with all my favourite items in this oh-so-charming colour that it is utterly trendy right now.
Why I love so much Rose Gold hues? Mainly because this colour goes so well with my peach / warm pink undertones in my complexion. I think it is extremely chic and something new compared to classic and somewhat boring gold or silver tones.
I could have included a lot of products in this selections, but these products are really those ones I’m quite obsessed about right now.
You can find great Rose Gold options in drugstores. Let’s start with a recent launch by Physicians Formula. This is the Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer in Light*. Once the overspray is gone – it really is too glittery – you get a lovely luminous glow that is perfect for fair and light skintones.
Then we have a new Sephora Colorful Mono Eyeshadow for the Colorful Nude Collection, in N°283 What happens in Vegas…*. It’s like a galore of fine glitters on a delicate rose gold base. Despite being a shimmery eyeshadow it does have a good pigmentation, I’m so glad that Sephora improved the texture of these eyeshadows since they actually have a better quality.
Another great Rose Gold powder product is Cindy-Lou Manizer by TheBalm. You can read here my previous impressions. The texture is smooth and the pigmentation is great. On my fair complexion it works not only as highlighter but as a blush as well!
Now let’s move to high-end department. Talking about lips I don’t own a Rose Gold lipstick. Well, it will look weird on me. But the most gorgeous Rose Gold shade is that one from Charlotte Tilbury packaging. A 40’s retro, metal case for Matte Revolution lipsticks range. This one is called Walk of Shame, a gorgeous warm rose tone with brown undertones. I also own Glastonberry which is a super dark plum.
