Elizabeth Arden Untold Color Collection – Fall 2014

Some days ago I had the chance to attend Elizabeth Arden Untold Color Collection launch. It was an amazing event, we talked about chromotherapy and the importance that colours have on our mood and wellness. In my Italian article here you can read all about the event.

But now let’s talk about Elizabeth Arden Untold Color Collection itself. There are two lead colours: gold and violet for eye and lip look: there are two eyeshadows palette and two sparkling lipglosses. Furthermore there are new coloured eyeliner and retractable eye brow pencils. Let’s see some details.

 

 

 

As part of Elizabeth Arden Untold Color Collection we have two Beautiful Color Eyeshadow Quads*: Chic Brown* with golden and warm earthy tones and Posh Purple*, cooler violet and purple tones. Texture is really smooth and blendable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To pair with eye look we have Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Glosses* in Glamorous Gold*, an extra shimmering and sparkling transparent gold perfect for layering on your festive lipstick, and Intriguing Violet*, an amazing shade of radiant orchid. They are more on the transaparent side in order to enhance lipstick underneath with luminous coloured pearlized particles. It’s really strange for a lip gloss – and I’m no lip gloss lover – but they last incredibly well on lips since I had to use a lot of make up remover to remove them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To complete eye look we have Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eyeliner*: a retractable waterproof, long lasting (up to 14 hours) eye pencil. Texture is extremely smooth and you can even smudge it a bit before it sets for a soft smoky eye. They work well even on waterline. They are available in 4 new colours: Java* (warm brown), Sapphire* (deep blue), Emerald* (bright green) and Blackberry* (deep purple).

 

 

 

 

 

Last but not least, Beautiful Color Natural Eye Brow Pencil*: they are available in 4 shades and I received 2 of them, 02 Natural Beige* and 03 Brownette*. Amazing thing: they are retractable! They have an ultra-precise stroke and I can mix both colours for a perfect match.
