MAC Burmese Kiss – Bao Bao Wan Collection
Today I want to do a quick focus on MAC Burmese Kiss Lipstick from Bao Bao Wan Collection before writing a recap with all MAC March 2015 collections with all official informations and my personal impressions.
I did buy MAC Burmese Kiss on a whim when I saw it at Milan’s counter before jumping on my train. I didn’t planned to get it since I bought Toxic Tale recently and I already own Party Parrot but I really couldn’t resist these bright coral shades. Luckly they’re not exatcly dupe. Of course if you already own one lipstick of the bunch you can live without the others. Toxic Tale has a satin finish, while both Party Parrot and Burmese Kiss have a matte finish.They’re all limited edition.
I really like this “new” matte formula in MAC lipsticks: they feel nice and smooth on lips and they doesn’t dry out lips too much.
MAC Burmese Kiss is a bright coral, the perfect, balanced combo of pink warm red with a slightly touch of orange. Toxic Tale is more orange while Party Parrot is pinker. MAC Burmese Kiss is the exatc in-between shade. It comes in this beautiful special packaging: a matte brwon-green duochrome, it recalls a bit Club eyeshadow, with golden details. I think this is the most elegant and beautiful special packaging MAC put out so far.
Colour payoff and lasting power are great as my other MAC matte lipsticks: I can put them on in the morning and forget about them throughout the day. I don’t need any touch-up even after eating and drinking.
