*Today I’m going to review Real Techniques Core Collection * brushes.
Everyone on the web is talking about these brushes, Real Techniques*, the brush range created by mua and youtube guru Samantha Chapman.
Real Tecnhiques* brushes are all in synthetic bristles (very soft indeed) and quite cheap, since a set is average £20. They come in set, as I said, or in single brushes but you can’t find the brushes in sets as singles. You can buy them in a lot of UK e-shops. I bought mine on Feelunique*, with no shipping charges and you can often use discount codes.
I chose Core collection set, as I needed some basic base brushes. In this set you’ll find:
- Buffing Brush
- Contour Brush
- Pointed Foundation Brush
- Detailer Brush
I’m really, really happy with these brushes. They are all extremely soft, quite like Everyday Minerals brushes which are the softest brushes on this planet. They’re still perfect after very often cleansing and they dry super quickly.
The brushes I love the most are the Buffing Brush and the Contour Brush, I think they’re worth the whole set. I use Buffing Brush for applying foundation and it is my favourite one: it blends perfectly and delivers good coverage without strikes. I love Contour Brush also, I use it for applying highlighter but you can use it for blush, bronzer, contour produtcs and blending all edges. I have to say I don’t use the other brushes at all: Pointed Foundation Brush is too small for foundation and I prefer a blending brush for concealer; Detailer Brush is perfect for inner corners of your eyes but I simply prefer using other brushes…
Now I’m curious to try some single brushes, such as Expert Face Brush, Blush Brush and Setting Brush, I want them all!
