A Rouge Bunny Rouge Summer Enchantment
This Summer I had the pleasure to receive some Rouge Bunny Rouge products to test. Rouge Bunny Rouge Summer 2015 collection features a couple of brand new products, such as the Imperceptible Powder Evanescence (preview here) and the Silk Aether Long-Lasting Duo Cream Eyeshadow, plus some permanent lip products in new shades.
You all know that Rouge Bunny Rouge has recently changed its packaging: from those romantic decorations to a more minimal appeal, although it seems that there’s still some stocks with the old (my favourite!) packaging.

As always, my heart skips a beat when I see Rouge Bunny Rouge products.

I received two kind of lip gloss. The first one is from the Swell Bliss XXX Lip Plump series, 083 Clover Royal Jelly* (old packaging). How wonderful are these names, uh? When it comes to Rouge Bunny Rouge you have to keep in mind that all is extremely soft, heavenly, romantic: there are only hues of colours and not bold ones. This is a highly reflective rosy pink with blue and silver micro-shimmer. It makes your lips look fuller thanks to its volumizing properties. Really comfortable to wear, not too sticky and quite long-lasting though. It has a delicious minty flavour.
The second one is one of Sweet Excesses Glassy Gloss, in Fleur Parfait*. It is a milky mauve pink with cool (almost silver) undertones. I can see some shimmer in the tube but they don’t translate to lips. It delivers a semi-opaque colour so it is really visible even on my medium pigmented lips. It feels extremely smooth and hydrating. It feels nice like a lip balm but with a lot more of colour and shine. Non-sticky at all.
Now let’s talk about lipsticks.
Here it is Sheer Lipstick Succulence of Dew in 03 Perfume of His Gaze*. It is a peachy beige with a sheer finish. Despite being a pale nude lipstick, it doesn’t conceal my lips but it exalt my natural colour. It glides on easily with a moisturizing effect, you’ll achieve an extremely natural yet polished look. Unlike many of other sheer lipsticks this one won’t fade away after 1 hour or so.
The other lipsticks I received are Colour Burst Hues of Enchantment in 026 Unrestricted* and 027 Irreverence*. The former is a rosy caramel shade with micro-shimmer, the ladder a natural pink with no shimmer. They deliver opaque colour, although they have a weightless texture. They feel amazingly creamy and moisturizing. They also improve the lips’ texture since it is a lot smoother.
Last but not least, Silk Aether Long-Lasting Duo Cream Eyeshadow 085 Glossamer Wing* is a creamy duo eyeshadow in pearly cream and pearly taupe. The texture glides on smoothly, you can blend it until it sets after 1 minute. Once set, it won’t mover nor smudge, it also is water-proof and crease-proof.
